Terri creates successful learning environments, and is admired for her determination to provide meaningful support for all of the students on her caseload.
I have worked with Terri Weiner for the past 15 years in the Upper Moreland Township School District. As a special education teacher for students with autism and intellectual disabilities in the middle school, Terri was a vital resource to myself and the students within my classroom. Her passion and dedication to her job, as the occupational therapist, was evident in her relationship with the students and staff she worked with each day. Throughout her time in our school, Mrs. Weiner has worked with countless students with diverse learning and behavioral challenges.
At the beginning of my teaching career, I relied on Terri’s valuable knowledge of various disabilities, including the latest research and innovative strategies to create a successful learning environment for my students. As I continued to work with Terri she provided ongoing support focused on dissecting problems and creating steps toward a resolution. Terri has always focused on the needs of each student individually and strived to address any deficits related to independence, self care, self sufficiency, social skills, and overall quality of life for our students.
I have always admired Terri’s work ethic and determination to provide meaningful support for all of the students on her caseload. Her ability to work as a team player coupled with her unique thinking and in-depth knowledge of special education helped enhance the school experience for so many of her students. When Terri was on board there never seemed to be an obstacle that we couldn’t tackle.
